Barbara A. Duffy, PDM

With almost 20 years of HVAC and plumbing marketing experience, Barbara brings a unique dynamic to the industry with her specific product knowledge and marketing know-how. Year after year, her award-winning products offer very satisfied clients such a high response rate that we are almost embarrassed to say what it is.

For over two decades, Barbara has been responsible for the growth and success experienced by hundreds of companies nationally and internationally, including Lennox Industries, Service Experts, Aire Serv, Air Advice, Southern Union Gas and Tony Roma’s – to mention just a few. Her work has been recognized nationally by some of the top leaders in the industry.

While Barb’s best education came from working as the Marketing Manager for Neal Harris Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing (one of the original Service Experts companies), she is one of just a few hundred in the world that hold the esteemed Professional Direct Marketer (PDM) designation. Combined with a deep commitment level (instilled in her by a solid upbringing by parents with great values and work ethic) along with many life experiences, Barb is a heavy hitter that every company needs working for them to obtain the best marketing results.

Erica VanDee

Erica graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia’s School of Journalism with an emphasis in Magazine Design and an art minor. Since graduating in 2007, she has worked for several publications and freelance design projects in the Kansas City, Mo., area. Erica is proud to announce that she has never missed a deadline in over 18 years of design.

Erica is excited to bring to Duffy Marketing a strong attention to detail as well as a great editing background for her projects. Her wide range of experience lends itself well to Duffy’s “power with a plan.” When Erica’s not cracking whips on work deadlines, she’s spending time with her two sons, husband and dogs. She loves reading, movies, gardening, and meeting dogs on all of her adventures.

Michelle Waugh

Michelle unintentionally began a career in the heating and plumbing service industries while working alongside her dad in his small business. Growing up, most dinner table conversations eventually centered around the day’s work or business in general.

Michelle has over 15 years of direct experience working for the family business that has grown from a sole proprietorship to a corporation. Because of her broad range of experience, which includes service dispatch, warehouse management, customer service, office management, commercial sales and marketing, Michelle has gained a great appreciation for service business owners and the responsibilities included with balancing a business and family.

Michelle was instilled with a strong work ethic and understands the many facets of the day-to-day operations and challenges encountered to get the job done, starting with the initial customer phone call to the marketing that sells the service. Her varied skill-set gives her an edge to help Duffy Marketing clients over the last 7 years reach the highest levels of success through marketing their specific services. Michelle and her husband are enjoying the empty nest and loving on their grandchildren.

Chris Basler

Chris Basler

Chris is an accomplished design professional with nearly 20 years of experience and an extensive knowledge in all aspects of the creative process. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design from Ball State University, his career has included roles as a designer for a world-renowned automotive auction company to Creative Director of a Fort Wayne, Indiana publishing and advertising agency. Chris prides himself on his attention to detail, work ethic, appreciation for his industry’s history, and dedication to getting better at his craft. However, the most enjoyable moments of his career have come when he has been able to mentor and guide young designers.

Most importantly, Chris is a husband and a father to five children. You can usually find him attending one of their many sporting events or musicals. When he does get free time, Chris enjoys drawing, watching sports, doing crossword puzzles, and playing with his dog, Sophie. He is also an active member at his church, where he serves on the Parish Council and works with the youth group.

Digital Marketing Director

Jaryn Dominique

Jaryn has been in the digital marketing world for over seven years. Her roots began with web development and SEO, but she quickly escalated her skills while climbing the rankings at some of the largest digital agencies in the industry. There she honed her craft with PPC campaigns, social media calendar creation, reputation management, and much more! She’s worked with multi-million dollar brands and small start ups, perfecting her digital marketing craft. With a passion to help business owners grow their brand she joined the Duffy Marketing team in 2019 to share her knowledge and skills. 

When Jaryn isn’t geeking out over digital marketing stats or studying code on her client’s websites she’s often reading or writing superhero comics, playing with her pets, or traveling with her husband. 

Nick Duffy

Nick started part time in 2013, and joined the team full time in 2015 after receiving his degree in Biology at the University of Arkansas. When Nick first started he took on the audio and photo shoots, and is still fine tuning that to this day. From handling the promotional products department and the daily management of our operating system, to studying to become a data analysis specialist, Nick is continually developing an understanding of the business from every direction to help him take on the role of owning and running the company someday.

In his free time Nick enjoys spending time outdoors, watching his favorite sports teams & learning to cook new recipes. A few of his biggest passions are playing sports & snowboarding, the Dallas Cowboys, and relaxing with his wife and dog.
